Join us in the Agents of Care gallery to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Arte Mestiza at the Fine Arts Center! View archival materials from the mural’s creation, and hear artist Emanuel Martinez and Lucha Martínez de Luna, executive director and curator of the Chicana/o/x Murals of Colorado Project and the Emanuel Project, discuss the mural’s creation, restoration, and legacy and reflect on their work 40 years later. Free with museum admission.
