Insectpalooza! (Cool Science Festival)at Osborne Center for Science and Engineering (Room B314)

This is our largest event of the year! Cool Science is expecting ~6,000 children and families to attend the festivities on campus this year (you can learn more about the Coo Science Festival here: https://www.coolscience.org/cool-science-festival-schedule.html). Every year Bug Club hosts "Insectpalooza" opening up the bug room to the public for viewing, feeding demos, holding creatures, and so much more! In the past we have had volunteers help kids/parents; use microscopes, hold hermit crabs, hold millipedes, live feeing tarantulas, live feeding ant lions, helping find camouflaged critters in their enclosures, sharing fun facts and more! Have any ideas for activities? Please let us know when you sign up! We need volunteers! We are seeking dedicated members looking to practice their bug knowledge and help the public interact with our creatures.
