SketchUp for Laser Projectsat East Library

This class series will introduce participants to a user-friendly CAD (Computer Assisted Design) program called SketchUp. Participants will learn SketchUp by using techniques to build a house using the tool. Next, participants will design and build a small wooden box with their own personal lettering and designs on the box’s exterior using the SketchUp and then cut it out using the makerspace's laser cutter. All supplies will be provided. No prior knowledge is required.  Ages 13 to 18. Registration required.Participants will need to make a free account at Trimble.com. Participants will also need a library card and a signed Creative Space Use Agreement for Minors (en español).
