Summer Concerts in the Glen: The Manitou Chamber Musicat 315 Lake Ave

The Manitou Chamber Music faculty Jeri Jorgensen, Sophie Verhaeghe, Hanna Pederson and Matt Armbruster perform as a string quartet every summer while teaching young people in a chamber music program sponsored by the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association. They will feature this year “Music for a Summer Night” intertwining themes of light, the garden, poetry, and relationships, with an American twist. Works by Mozart, Schubert, Max Richter, Caroline Shaw, Charles Ives, and more. Bring your lawn chair and friends to enjoy these free concerts. Picnics are encouraged. Donations accepted. In bad weather, concerts are held inside.
