Do you like to hike and want to make new friends? The Summer Hiking Series is designed for people who like to hike but prefer not to hike alone, visitors who want a longer hike but do not want to have to figure out a longer route, and anyone who wants to quietly explore the park on foot with a small group and a park interpreter. Hikes are moderate with some elevation gain on dirt trails and over rocky terrain. There will be a different hike each week and the start of each weekly hike will be at a different trailhead. Hikers are expected to be prepared with hiking essentials and a fitness level to ensure safety at altitude.
