In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks | September 10, 2026 – October 4, 2026 What began as an average day in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, turned into an international sleepover when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander welcomed the stranded travelers with music, an open bar, and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family. Based on an extraordinary true story, this Tony Award-winning musical is filled with traditional Irish folk music and chronicles how this isolated town in Newfoundland played host to the world in a true celebration of hope, humanity, and unity. From Sept. 1–11, join the FAC in #11DaysofKindness by doing good deeds for others and encouraging them to pay it forward. Partners in Housing Community Collection Drive Inspired by the spirit of generosity at the heart of Come From Away, the FAC is partnering with Partners in Housing to support local families experiencing housing insecurity. Help us answer the call to care by donating non-perishable food, clothing, hygiene products, diapers, and baby care items. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) The FAC is partnering with NAMI to highlight the natural connection between theatre and mental health advocacy. Through compassionate storytelling and shared experiences, we hope to encourage conversation, build empathy, reduce stigma, and remind audiences that no one navigates life’s challenges alone.
