The House of David Music Center is providing an afternoon tea with live music provided by students. All proceeds benefit the Center’s scholarship fund, which provides scholarship lessons for community members who cannot afford the full cost of lessons. We currently support 65+ students on partial scholarships and we need your help! I am so incredibly thankful for this community and the continued support: Since August we have handed out $13,810 directly to students in the form of tuition reduction. We received $2,200 from Ute Pass Kiwanis, $1,000 from Lyons Club. With these wonderful partners, this total was brought to $10,610. We were desperately hoping for some scholarships and grants to come through. We are constantly applying for them (this month $8,000). Additionally, CHE (Colorado Homeschool Enrichment, Community Partnership Family Resource Center, Aspen Mine Center have also sponsored 14 students (outside of our funding)! Please come support these efforts by joining us Saturday May 30, at 4:00 at the Ute Pass Cultural Center.
