About This Event
Fermented Vegetables Faculty and Staff, please join us for a hands-on class learning to ferment vegetables from your garden or the farmers’ market! Fermenting is a healthy and delicious way to preserve summer’s bounty, and you can do it yourself at home! Healthy pickles, what could be better? Join us for a fun and interactive class and an opportunity to meet your fellow UCCS colleagues. Instructor Tony Merschdorf is one of CREATE’s most popular teachers, instructing soap-making over the past 5 years. He is a contracted artist-facilitator with Military Arts Connection where he offers classes to Veteran military members. Tony has a passion for health and wellness and wants to share his knowledge with you!
