Despite Ireland not making it to the World Cup, Jack Quinn's Irish Pub will stream every single World Cup match, plus host watch parties for U.S. games. Located at 21 South Tejon St., Jack Quinn's will offer specials on food and drinks during World Cup matches, and whether the U.S. advances or not, they plan to have watch parties for later rounds and championship. Where I Learned to Look: Art from the Yard celebrates the foundational role of yards in shaping contemporary art in America. Building upon existing scholarship on Yard Art, artwork created to exist in the transitional space between the home and wider world, artist and art historian Josh T Franco examines the lineage of this robust American art form. Featuring over 30 works, the exhibition spotlights both community and academically taught artists over the past five decades including David Driskell, vanessa german, Donald Judd, and Finnegan Shannon, revealing connections across communities in creative world-building with what is available. Where I Learned to Look: Art from the Yard was originally produced by the Institute of Contemporary Art, University of Pennsylvania. The exhibition was made possible by the Katherine and Keith L. Sachs Guest Curator Program, and is supported at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College by the Catharine and Bart Holaday Endowment for Interactive Art. The Garbologists

Written by Lindsay Joelle and Directed by GerRee Hinshaw. Danny is a white, blue-collar, born-and-bred New Yorker. Marlowe is Black, Ivy-League-educated, and just joined the sanitation department. They’ve got one thing in common: the route. Over the course of countless trash pickups, this odd couple bickers, bonds, and uncovers unexpected truths about themselves—and the city they serve. Directed by GerRee Hinshaw (Dream Hou$e), The Garbologists is a sharp and heartfelt comedy about finding connection in the mess of everyday life. The Women of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb

The Manitou Springs Heritage Museum will present “The Women of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb” leading up to the June 21 race. Last seen on the Butte stage in 2021, “Under the Colorado Moon” tells the story of gentleman Brett Armstrong. In financial distress after a lost wager and falsely accused of forgery, Brett must fake his own death and flee for a new life in the rough and tumble mountain town of Cripple Creek, CO. He assumes a new identity and joins a team of hard rock miners who toil under the thumb of Roy Shatterly, a man as cruel as he is rich. All is well until Armstrong falls for a beautiful and spirited mule skinner who has also caught Shatterly’s eye. Now, Armstrong must either deny his love or risk his freedom…and quite possibly his life! From the museum’s earliest days, gifts of art have shaped this institution and the permanent collection it stewards. More than half of the collection arrived through the generosity of artists, donors, and others who gifted important works or funds that have made key purchases possible. These acts of giving didn’t just add works; they defined the collection’s scope and vision. Alice Bemis Taylor’s foundational gift of art from the Southwest grounded the FAC in this region. Meredith Sage Hare’s donation of American modernist paintings and sculptures set sights on the avant-garde. Subsequent gifts have continued this dual commitment—grounded in the Southwest, attentive to what’s new—while also broadening the FAC’s collecting scope. This exhibition brings together gifts from across the museum’s ninety-year history, from foundational donations to recent acquisitions that continue shaping the collection today. June Exhibits at Surface Gallery: featuring Gail Nelson, Naomi Falk, and a Rewilding: a group exhibition “A Rewilding Journey” by Gail M. Nelson is an immersive installation which highlights that everything in nature is moving and changing; nothing is static. This observation spiraled into an art installation based on how nature grows and rewilds. This exhibit demonstrates how art and nature connect to create a repurposed habitat. The relationship between biodiversity and creating with mixed media is explored with materials that had a life prior to their inclusion in an artwork. Recycled paper, yarn, water-based paint, collaged botanical prints, willows and wood come together in a 3D space full of organic shapes, movement and eco themes. “Yes, and…” features textile work by Naomi Falk. She writes, “Dreaming through improvisational play, I make my way through these anxious times and momentary nows. Inspired by Ross Gay, Muriel Rukeyser, among many more people, creatures, and events, I ponder the delight and difficulty of living together in this “human place”. What does it mean to dig through what remains (donated fabrics, clothing, textiles, stuff)? What is lost and found? Through these processes, I piece together new stories, discovering softness, survival, and abundant possibilities.”, “Rewilding: a group show”, is a juried group exhibition featuring 21 artists and over 30 works, celebrates the diversity and vitality of the natural world. From detailed representations of flora and fauna to abstract explorations of organic form, the exhibition offers a wide-ranging look at how artists engage with nature, sustainability, and interconnected ecosystems. This exhibit is the perfect compliment to our main exhibit by Gail Nelson. Reflections

No roads, no fences, just high clouds gliding by reflected in the ripples of a cool stream. The stream slashes through the meadow and the world opens up. Reign of Z

Singer Zosia West is no stranger to the dark side of life with lyrical content ranging from body dysmorphia,to bullying and sexual abuse; there is no shortage of expression to release in her meter and verse. Living by the motif of comforting the disturbed and disturbing the comfortable, Reign of Z has carved its path since its inception in 2017. ‘POTUS, or Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive’ by Selina Fillinger Springs Ensemble Theatre to stage “POTUS” at PPSC First co-production at Pikes Peak State College since new partnership announcement brings zany summer comedy downtown. Springs Ensemble Theatre announces its June production of “POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive” by Selina Fillinger, running June 4 through June 21, 2026, at Studio West Mulliken Black Box at the Pikes Peak State College Downtown Campus. This marks SET’s first production at Pikes Peak State College since the two organizations announced a new partnership designed to strengthen the local theatre ecosystem by combining forces and creating opportunities for students to work alongside theatre professionals. What begins as a public relations nightmare spirals into a full-scale comic emergency. Rather than spoofing on one party or the other, “POTUS” satirizes the machinery of politics itself: ego, image management, scandal, institutional dysfunction, and the people left cleaning up (and potentially complicit in) the mess. At the center of the story is a truth often overlooked in public life: many of the people doing the hardest work, solving the biggest problems, and keeping institutions functioning are women whose influence is not always publicly recognized. “POTUS” turns that reality into comedy while also giving center stage to seven dynamic female characters who are smart, messy, strategic, funny, and fully human.
