Manitou Chamber Music Festival 2026: Faculty Concert #1at 315 Lake Ave

The Manitou Chamber Music Festival opens its 2026 season with an evening of chamber music performed by our acclaimed faculty artists. The program features Malipiero’s Rispetti e Strambotti, Ives’s Intermezzo from “The Celestial Country,” and the beloved Brahms Clarinet Quintet. The Manitou Chamber Music Festival is a dual-faceted performance and education community held each July with the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association. Faculty artists mentor advanced 9th to 12th grade student musicians in small groups as they explore the world of chamber music, and students share the stage with faculty at the final concert. Now in its 13th season, the festival presents four concerts at the Broadmoor Community Church About CSYSA: The Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association (CSYSA) inspires young musicians through exceptional training, diverse musical experiences, and performances that connect our community. With ten ensembles and students from more than 60 schools, CSYSA prepares the next generation of artists and leaders while sharing the power of music across the Pikes Peak region and beyond.
