Manitou Chamber Music Festival 2026: Faculty Concert #2at 315 Lake Ave

This faculty concert pairs the classical and the contemporary in a single evening, featuring Mozart’s String Quartet K. 387, Caroline Shaw’s inventive Plan and Elevation, and Stravinsky’s vibrant Dumbarton Oaks. The Manitou Chamber Music Festival is a dual-faceted performance and education community held each July with the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association. Faculty artists mentor advanced 9th to 12th grade student musicians in small groups as they explore the world of chamber music, and students share the stage with faculty at the final concert. Now in its 13th season, the festival presents four concerts at Broadmoor Community Church.
