She will provide step-by-step instructions for planning an effective research trip including how to begin, what to bring, and what to leave home. Tina Beaird, owner of Tamarack Genealogy, is the genealogy & local history librarian at a mid-sized Chicagoland public library. She lectures nationally on topics including genealogical methodology, military records, Scottish research, plus photo and archival preservation. Tina has assisted researchers for over twenty years and occasionally finds time to conduct her own family research. Members: Zoom links and handouts will be emailed to you before the meeting.
