NorthStar Computer Series: Internet Basicsat East Library

The internet has become so vast and ubiquitous that some of us may not even know where to begin. This class is designed to introduce students to the basics of using the internet. Students will learn how to connect a device to the internet, how to search the internet safely, and troubleshooting tips for common issues. The class meets weekly for four consecutive weeks, with three sessions that are instructor-led and cover material on the given topic and a fourth session that is conducted as an open lab for students to ask questions, take proctored exams, or get more information.If you already have an email address, please come prepared with your email address and password to log into your email account.
