About This Event

Found Form for Everyone: Low-Stakes Experimentation to Energize Your and Your Students' Writing Visiting author Susanna Childress will lead a cross-disciplinary session on the hermit crab essay, which uses a pre-existing form to "house" nonfiction writing. We’ll peruse several examples, consider when experimentation of this sort may energize the writing process for you and your students, and crowdsource our own list of found forms. No writing experience required. Open to faculty from all disciplines. Register for this hyflex event by October 29. In-person participants will receive a copy of the book.
