About This Event
Join us and Colorado Springs Astronomical Society (CSASTRO) for an after-hours, lights-out star party in our parking lot! Our CSASTRO Members will be bringing out their personal telescopes and other observing instruments to share views of the night sky with attendees. The Moon will be half full (1st Quarter) and we should also be able to view the planets Jupiter and Venus as well as colorful stars, star clusters, nebula and perhaps a galaxy or two. Free, Family Friendly Event Event is Weather Dependent, check this page or our home page on night of the event for updates More Parking available in Garden of the Gods Park parking lot 1/overflow across from the Visitor & Nature Center until 10pm. Take Foothills Trail to access Visitor & Nature Center.
