USAFA Family Movie Event Star Wars: The Force Awakens Saturday, Oct 10 at 1 p.m. 2026 continues “A Year Among the Stars” in the USAFA Planetarium, including a complete run through the Star Wars movies. As a new threat to the galaxy rises, Rey, a desert scavenger, and Finn, an ex-stormtrooper, must join Han Solo and Chewbacca to search for the one hope of restoring peace. Experience the motion picture event of a generation in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Non-messy snacks and closeable drinks with lids are authorized for this event only in the Planetarium. Everyone must RSVP online to reserve your seats for the movie. This movie is open to USAFA permanent party, Cadets, and their families. IMPORTANT NOTE: With our limited seating, if you RSVP and your plans change for any reason, please email Jeff our Planetarium Director at planetarium@afacademy.af.edu so we can release your seats to another family who can attend. BASE PASS: Visitors to the Academy MUST have a valid DoW ID card OR they need to request a base pass at least 24 hours in advance with the dated links at the top of the planetarium webpage.
