USAFA 60th Anniversary Star Trek Event Star Trek Trivia & Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Fri, Sept 11 starting @ 6 p.m. Join us at the USAFA Planetarium to celebrate 60 years of Star Trek. One of the most enduring and beloved entertainment franchises of all time has inspired generations of kids and adults to love space, space exploration, and the joy of the potential of our human future. We will celebrate with some Trek history, a fun round of Star Trek Trivia, a cosplay contest, and then join the original crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise for their final voyage together aboard NCC-1701-A. Winners of the trivia and the cosplay contest will receive prizes! FYI – the first four original cast films are being shown in theaters here in town on September 8th. This movie is open to USAFA permanent party, Cadets, and their families. Everyone must RSVP online to reserve your seats for the event. Non-messy snacks and closable drinks with lids are authorized for this event only in the Planetarium. IMPORTANT NOTE: With our limited seating, if you RSVP and your plans change for any reason, please email Jeff, our Planetarium Director, at planetarium@afacademy.af.edu so we can release your seats to another family who can attend. BASE PASS: Visitors to the Academy MUST have a valid DoW ID card OR they need to request a base pass at least 24 hours in advance with the dated links at the top of the planetarium webpage.
