First Friday Downtownat Fine Arts Center

The FAC is proud to participate in First Friday Downtown, a monthly city-wide event organized by Downtown Partnership. Free and open to the public, First Friday Downtown features new art, live music, and special events on the first Friday of every month from 5-8 p.m. at dozens of galleries, retailers and nonprofits throughout Downtown Colorado Springs. Admission to the museum is free, and live music is featured in our Deco Lounge with a cash bar and the stunning ambiance offered by our chic, historic venue. On June 5th at the FAC, CC Music Department Instructor and Director of the Tiger Jazz Ensemble Ricky Sweum plays the saxophone and teams up with Bass player Charlie DeGrove. Also this month, Art on the Streets will have a scavenger hunt throughout downtown, and the FAC is one of the featured stops! Learn more about the scavenger hunt
