Things to do in downtown Colorado Springs

Downtown is the city's densest events district. The Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts hosts touring Broadway, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and comedy; the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College sits just north; and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum anchors the southwest edge near America the Beautiful Park.

On the first Friday of every month, downtown galleries and shops stay open late for the First Friday art walk. Tejon Street and the surrounding blocks fill with live music, patios and late-night food on weekends.

Frequently asked questions

What is First Friday in Colorado Springs?

A monthly evening art walk on the first Friday of each month, when downtown galleries, studios and shops open late, often with live music and receptions.

Where do I park downtown?

The city runs several public parking garages downtown plus metered street parking. Check the event's venue page for the closest garage.
